Hello Fluo!
Hello Fluo is a collection of creative coding visuals printed in Quadrifluox®, curated by Mekit Studio and 70magenta.
----------
THE PROJECT
Traditionally, code and print belong to distinct spheres.
The Hello Fluo project is a unique blend of digital and analog technologies: coded visuals are created on computers and translated onto paper using a traditional offset printing press.
The use of Quadrilfuox®, a special printing technique with fluorescent inks, makes the final product truly one-of-a-kind.
THE PROCESS
The Hello Fluo project experiments with code and fluorescent ink to generate surprising visuals.
Beginner workshops introduced young designers to JavaScript code, color theory and Quadrifluox® printing, to create generative visuals.
International creative coders further developed the Hello Fluo collection exploring innovative solutions.
This approach resulted in a book full of ideas and insights that showcase the possibilities of creative coding and Quadrifluox® printing.
